At age ten, I stepped on a poisonous snail. Rushed to the hospital, the snail was declared DOA—but the poison coursing through my body had left me with an incurable, lifelong compulsion to craft ‘rad’ visuals. After four decades of aimless art-making, misguided adventures, and a myriad of art materials, the path the poison led me down narrowed into a hyper-focus on comics and tattooing.
