Nicholas Jimenez

Nicholas Jimenez is a Chicano artist in several mediums including visual design, graphic design, photography, and video. His commercial work has been used by the City of San José, History San José, MACLA /Movimiento de Arte y Cultura Latino Americana, San José State University, Fundbox, and Snapchat. His personal visual artwork deals with social issues such as homelessness, immigration, and first-generation experience. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design with a focus on product design and development from San José State University in 2021. He has recently self-published a poetry zine, AWAKEBUTSTILLINBED: Miranda stares at the ceiling, about his first-hand experience as a Chicano with vitiligo grappling with love, lust, depression, and self-fulfillment.
